Body of a local youth identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar, 24, a resident of Watkaloo Charar I sharief, was fished out on Tuesday morning from Yousmarg dam in Budgam district.
A police official said that there was no clue which could confirm that he had joined militant ranks. Police have initiated action to investigate the incident. The family of the deceased said that they had earlier filed a missing report in the local police station.
‘Daughters of Paradise’ selected for 11th International Documentary & Short Film Festival
Srinagar, July 10: The film “Daughters of Paradise” has been selected for 11th International Documentary and Short Film Festival to be held in Kerala this month.
The film speaks about domestic violence in Kashmir and has been selected for the competition under short documentary category. The competition will commence from 20th July and will culminate on 24th July.
The film has been directed and produced by Bilal A Jan.
