The Jammu and Kashmir government Friday appointed Advisor to governor, Skandan Krishnan, as the chairman of several corporations and boards.
Anorder issued from the industries and commerce department read, “In supersessionof all previous orders issued on the subject, sanction is hereby accorded tothe appointment of Skandan Krishnan, advisor (KS), as chairman of J&K stateindustrial development corporation limited (SIDCO), J&K small scaleindustries development corporation limited (SICOP), J&K handloomdevelopment corporation limited (HDC), J&K handicrafts (sales and export)corporation limited, J&K cements limited (JKCL), J&K minerals limited(JKML), J&K industries limited (JKI) and J&K khadi and villageindustries board (KVIB).”
Navin K Choudhary,principal secretary, industries and commerce department, has been appointed asdirector on the board of directors of the corporations/board in place ofShaleen Kabra, the order further states.
