All India Radio Srinagar unit on Friday suspended biometric attendance and directed its employees to go for manual attendance.
According to a circular, “in the interest of staff welfare,the biometric attendance system at AIR, Srinagar is suspended temporary tillfurther orders, as a safety/precautionary measure to prevent possibility of COVID 19 (Coronavirus), which is acontagious virus that spreads even viatouch of common objects like bio-metric machines.”
