Government Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora on Tuesday beat Government High School Chattabal in the finals of under-25 girls Kho-Kho championship here.
The championship was organised by the Zonal PhysicalEducation Officer (zone Batamaloo) in collaboration with the department ofYouth Services and sports Srinagar under youth outreach Initiative 2019-20,”Sports for peace and development” a vertical to khelo India programme.
Other schools which participated in the event included BHSLawaypora and GHS AmiraKadal.
Meanwhile, Kho-Khochampionships for girls commenced at Government Boys Higher Secondary SchoolZadibal and Boys High School Sonwar respectively on Tuesday. In the competitionschool going students and non-students in the age group of under-25 areparticipating.
