Srinagar: National and International Footballers Forum (NIFF) held its Emergency meeting on Sunday to discuss various issues confronting J&K football.
“Without any formation of a selection committee or any criteria of selection in the middle of the Premier League season, the Clubs have been asked to release particular players in between the league where they have to attend trials while the league is going on,” the statement said.
It said that players are supposed to attend trials and then go and play matches also which makes no sense whatsoever and raises a big concern,” statement said.
