Srinagar, June 23: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of senior party leader and District Treasurer Dr Mohammad RafiqKochak of Anantnag.
According to a statement issued here, in their condolence message, Farooq and Omar paid glowing tributes to the deceased, prayed for peace to his departed soul and much needed strength to the bereaved family to bear the inconsolable loss.
“Recalling his immense contribution towards the party, the duo said the passing away of DrRafiqKochak Sahib has left a deep vacuum in the party’s District unit which will be impossible to fill for many years to come. The duo has also expressed unison with the grief stricken family in their hour of grief,” the statement reads.
