SSP Budgam chairs review meet

Srinagar, June 1: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem Tuesday chaired the security review meeting regarding law and order, crime, and preventive measures taken to combat Covid-19.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that Saleem chaired the security review meeting with all SDPOs, SHOs and PPs of district Budgam and discussed different security measures for ensuring peace and stability in the district.

   

He also took stock of the measures to be taken to combat Covid-19 and urged the officers to strengthen the general security grid of their respective areas for ensuring peace and stability besides taking stringent action against those involved in anti-social activities, particularly those involved in drugs and similar substances.

Saleem also urged upon the officers to conclude the investigation of criminal cases on merits within the stipulated period.

The SSP Budgam appreciated the efforts of Police and other forces for maintaining peace and stability in the district and emphasised upon them to maintain synergy and better coordination with other security agencies at the ground level to maintain a peaceful environment and security in the district.

He also appreciated the efforts of Police in combating coronavirus and maintaining law and order in the district. Saleem directed the officers to strengthen the security grid in their respective areas and plug the gaps to avoid untoward incidents in the district.
