Two men on Wednesday sustained injuries in a road accident at Potha village of Surankote tehsil in Poonch district.
A police officer said, “A car, JK12A 8863, was on way from Jammu to Poonch, when it skidded off the road and plunged into a roadside gorge at Potha village. As a result, two men, who were travelling in the car, sustained injuries.”
The injured were evacuated from the spot and shifted to a local hospital, where they are under treatment, the officer said.
He identified the injured as Mustaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Akbar, and GulamNabi, son of Mohammad Abraham, both residents of Mandi area in Poonch district.
