The health department Sunday issued charge-sheets eleven employees for remaining absent from duty.
Block medical officer Mendhar, Dr Parvez Khan said that fiveemployees of government primary health center, Bhatadhurian, and six employeesof government sub-district hospital, Mendhar, were found absent from dutiesduring a surprise inspection.
He said, “Till the employees submit a reply, their salariesfor the month of March, 2019, have been withheld.”
The absentees from PHC Bhatadurian include Shabir Ahmed,Sarfaraz Ahmed, Tazeem Akther, Kaleem Akther and Ghulam Mustafa Khan. In SDHMendhar, Mast Ram, Mohammad Akram, Mohammad Fayaz Khan, Shazad Rashid, AftabHussain Shah and Nayaz Ahmed were found to be absent, the BMO said.
