A middle aged man sustained injuries in a firing incident near Line of Control in Nowshera Rajouri on Sunday evening, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Yusuf son of Karam Din of Pukherni village of Lam in Nowshera.
Yusuf was reportedly moving on village path when a bullet from LoC side hit his leg and he sustained injuries. He was rushed to SDH Rajouri for the treatment.
Police have also started investigation into the matter while it is being suspected as a case of ceasefire violation from other side.
