The residents of Reasi town staged a demonstration against the Chief Medical Officer on Monday to lodge their protest against the lack of basic medical facilities in the district hospital.
The locals alleged, “After what happened at Siar Baba waterfall on Sunday, the CMO reached the district hospital after 3 hours. It was his duty to reach on time as it was a state of urgency.”
The protestors also raised slogans against the Health department and urged upon the authorities to fill all the vacant posts of doctors in the district hospital.
