Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today resolved a long pending issue of ZEO office building at Baljaralan.
The Chief Education Officer informed that prior to 2007, the ZEO office Baljarala was functioning in a Government building at Dhangri but due to some dispute, the said office was shifted to a rented building at Badhon.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan had directed the Chief Education Officer along with Tehsildar Rajouri, Muhammad Rafeeq on the spot with the instructions to get the office shifted to the Government building already available at Dhangri. The officers acted accordingly and all the documents and furniture were immediately shifted to the new building and the office was inaugurated by the Chief Education Gulzar Hussain.
However, the landlord who is reportedly an advocate has been assured by the Deputy Commissioner that his issue regarding the payment of the rent for his building shall be settled.
