Sopore, June 26: Unidentified persons on Saturday evening hurled a petrol bomb at a police party at Chandkote Hygam area here.
Police said it missed the target and exploded on the road. However, there was no casualty or injury in the incident.
A senior police officer said soon after the attack, security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
