Sopore: The maiden ‘Nissa Awards for 2021’ have been conferred on four Kashmir women, the Majlis-un-Nisa said Tuesday.
A statement of Majlis-un-Nisa, a constituent of Adbi Markaz Kamraz which is celebrating its golden jubilee this year, conferred awards on four women for their contribution and achievements in their respective fields.
The statement quoting its president Muzamil Bashir Masoodi said that Dr Farhat Jabeen has been selected for her contribution in the field of medicine (gynecology); Haneefa Qureshi in the field of education, Rafia Wali for literature, Ashwaq Masoodi for journalism.
It said that the Majlis-un-Nisa congratulates all the awardees and wishes more power to them.
